Welcome to The Peak Freaks! We’re committed to ensuring your trekking experience in Himachal and Uttarakhand is both safe and memorable. Before booking your tour, please review the following terms and conditions that apply to all our adventures:
- Booking & Payment
- All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment.
- Full payment must be completed before the departure date, as specified in your booking confirmation.
- Cancellation by the Traveller
- If you decide to cancel your tour, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
- 30 days or more before departure: 30% cancellation fee.
- 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
- 7 to 15 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee.
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee.
- A non-refundable processing fee of INR 1,500 applies to all cancellations.
- If you decide to cancel your tour, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
- Postponement Option
- If you need to reschedule, we offer the option to postpone your trek to the following season.
- Your payment will be credited towards a future tour with The Peak Freaks (valid for one year).
- Postponement requests must be made in writing before the original departure date.
- Refund Processing
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after confirmation of cancellation.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Non-refundable fees, including taxes and service charges, are excluded from refunds.
- Changes by The Peak Freaks
- Occasionally, we may need to modify your itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.
- If we must make changes that significantly affect your tour, we will:
- Offer an alternative trip of similar value.
- Provide a refund of the price difference if the alternative trip is less expensive.
- Offer a full refund if no suitable alternative is available.
- No compensation will be provided for changes resulting from events beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, natural disasters).
- Unforeseen Circumstances
- The Peak Freaks cannot be held liable for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as:
- Natural calamities, extreme weather conditions, or landslides.
- Acts of war, civil disturbances, or government regulations.
- Transportation disruptions or industrial disputes.

- Traveller Responsibilities
- You are responsible for your personal safety and conduct throughout the tour.
- Please treat fellow travelers, local communities, and guides with respect.
- Damages caused by your actions will be your responsibility, and you may be charged for repairs or replacements.
- We reserve the right to remove any traveler from the tour if their behavior disrupts the experience or endangers others, without refund.
- Alcohol & Substance Policy
- To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we have a strict no-alcohol policy during treks.
- Consumption of alcohol or drugs may result in removal from the trek, with no refund.
- Damage & Liability
- You and your group are responsible for any damage caused to accommodation, transport, or equipment provided by The Peak Freaks.
- Please report any damage or malfunction to your trek leader immediately.
- Any costs arising from intentional or negligent damage must be borne by the individual(s) responsible.
- Complaints & Feedback
- If you encounter any problems during the trek, please inform your trek leader or our team immediately so we can address it.
- We are committed to resolving issues wherever possible.
- Post-tour complaints must be submitted within 7 days of your trek ending. Complaints raised after this period may not be considered.
- Health & Fitness
- Treks can be physically demanding. You must ensure that you are medically and physically fit to participate.
- Any pre-existing health conditions should be disclosed at the time of booking.
- Final Note
- We strive to provide a safe and enjoyable trekking experience for all our guests. By booking a tour with The Peak Freaks, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
